“But they who will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts which plunge men into destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all evils, of which some having lusted after, they were seduced from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. “ 1Ti 6.9-10 There are two important things about money they source and purpose. The purpose you need money for and source you have money from. And we don’t talk here about what you do for living but what or rather who is a source of your money? Notice that this verse doesn’t say that money is the source of all evil but love of money! Do you have any thoughts about it? This is a violation of the first commandment! You cannot love anything over God. When you love money you make them your god! This is a root of all evil. Whatever you put over God you make it god, that’s why violation of the first commandment is that root. So this is not about being poor but about putting God in the first place in your life! If a source and a purpose for your money is God you have a right attitude. Your money must first of all serve God’s Kingdom! And your source of your blessing comes straight from God and your relationship with him. In Jesus you are given the same blessing like Abraham. Your money is not from your hard work but from your involvement in building Kingdom of God! |

“But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law. “ Gal.5.22-23 There are many fruits you can bring in God’s Kingdom; those described above are the fruits of your internal change. When we are working to exchange our old nature with the new one results of that work are fruits of the Spirit. As you probably remember this work is based mostly on the Word of God. How in short we can describe those fruits in the context of the whole Bible? They are the features of God’s character. If you are changed and people can see those fruits in your life they can see God in you! As children of God we should manifest his character. It is one of our main aims – to be like Him!

"Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of Himself but what He sees the Father do. For whatever things He does, these also the Son does likewise. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all the things that He Himself does. And He will show Him greater works than these, so that you may marvel. “John5.19-20 Jesus was doing only what He sow that the Father did. We can say that He was following footsteps of his Father. Now we are following Him so at the same time we are following the Father. In all of our deeds we should be like Jesus, our life should be a reflection of his life and it doesn’t mean that we will have exactly the same situations as He had. But we will show the same methods and motives; the same ways of life. As Jesus wasn’t working blindly but was following his Father so we will follow him. We must submit our emotions to him so we won’t follow them but God’s love and compassion. Also we cannot judge others according to what we see and or know but according to judgment of God. To fully follow Jesus we have to use his methods, his ways and be driven by his motives. It won’t come to us without an effort but we will have to work it out. We have to learn how to do this, we have to conquer our old nature and reinforce our internal man to overcome old habits. Study Eph. 4.22-24
